Corporate Wellness

Shannon Gowland grew up on a sustainable working farm and was blessed to have family all around. She spent a lot of her childhood with her great-grandparents and grand-parents who taught her to respect nature, plants and their many uses, and how to farm. She is an entrepreneur, herbalist, and advocate for Whole Health. She is a veteran of conventional healthcare for over 15 years, and 11 years ago she added Herbal Fusion and Seeds of Wellness to her repertoire. Building on her knowledge passed down through generations in Native American Plant and Earth Medicine she has had formal training in traditional medicine with: Patricia Howell, Dr. Lori Rose at Hill College, Medical QiGong training with Christina Barea, Reiki training with Brad Dixon, Organic / Biodynamic Gardening thru the Cornell University Extension office under the Department of Agriculture, and with Michelle Thielen in Yoga Faith 12 – step.

Shannon is owner and operator of Roswell Farmers Market, Seeds of Wellness, and S.O.W. Institute. A unique healing experience offering local, organic, biodynamic CSA, pastured meats, organic food therapy bio-individual meals, and herbal therapy. Seeds of Wellness is her Herbal Clinic that has been open for over 12 years and recently expanded to include the S.O.W. Institute. Her goal is to help and guide others to live a healthy fulfilled life and find new ways to reduce carbon footprint, reduce, reuse, repurpose, and recycle.
